《華茲華斯抒情詩選》，共六十八首，約二千五百行。其中包括華茲華斯的主要代表作〈廷騰寺〉和〈永生的信息〉，重要作品〈邁克爾〉、〈露西組詩〉、〈我們是七個〉、〈鹿跳泉〉、〈孤獨割麥女〉、〈轉折〉、〈哀歌〉以及從《獻給民族獨立和自由的詩》中選譯的若干篇什。譯者堅持「以格律詩譯格律詩」，除少數幾首外，絕大多數譯詩每行的頓數都與原詩的音步數相等，韻式（包括行內韻）也一一仿照原詩。在一九九八年首屆魯迅文學獎──「全國優秀文學翻譯彩虹獎」評選中，本書獲得全票肯定而名列榜首。
